NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING AN AGENDA OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE Parks and Recreation Advisory Board THE CITY OF SAN ANGELO, TEXAS 3:30 P.M. - WEDNESDAY, April 1, 2026 East Mezzanine at City Hall 72 W. College, San Angelo In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of San Angelo will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons attending the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meetings. To better serve you, requests should be received 48 hours prior to the meetings. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department, 702 S. As a courtesy to those in attendance, please place your cell phone on “silent” or “vibrate” Thank You! I. OPEN SESSION A. Call to Order B. Public Comment The Board takes public comment on issues and concerns not on the Regular Agenda at this time. A Public Comment Form must be submitted to the Board liaison prior to the time the meeting is scheduled to begin. Public input on a Regular Agenda item will be taken at its appropriate discussion. Citizens should speak from the lectern, address all comments to the dais, begin by stating their name and address or Single Member District number, and limit their remarks to less than three minutes. ll. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Consider approving the March 4, 2026, meeting minutes. UI. REGULAR AGENDA: PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT 2. Consider a request to waive the Kirby Park pavilion rental fee for a private non-profit event. 3. Consider a request to lease the Ben Ficklin field. 4. Discuss the conceptual improvements to the storm water runoff and lagoon, as well as water collection reuse, at Civic League Park. 5. Continue discussion of the Kids Kingdom playground and its need for replacement, along with funding possibilities for this, as well as for other playgrounds, and recommend any related matters. 6. Hear and discuss an update on the river parks master plan. 7. Hear and discuss updates on key activities, projects, programs, and events from the Parks and Recreation divisions. 8. Consider future agenda items. IV.
